The Phottix Ares II is a manual wireless flash trigger. It works with hot-shoe flashes and studio strobes.
Frequency & Range: It operates on the 2.4 GHz band with a range of up to 150 meters.
Channels: It has 16 channels for interference-free operation.
Groups: It supports 4 groups labeled A, B, C, and D.
Digital ID: It includes a 4-digit Digital ID code to avoid cross-triggering.
Sync Speed: It supports flash sync speeds up to 1/250 second.
Connections: The receiver has a hot shoe, 3.5 mm sync port, and 1/4″-20 thread.
Power: Both units use two AA batteries. The receiver also supports 5V DC input.
