The FS5 is a compact Super 35 camcorder designed for flexible 4K production. It’s ideal for handheld shooting, gimbals, and run-and-gun setups.

Sensor: It has a Super 35mm Exmor CMOS sensor with 8.8 MP effective resolution.

Lens: Sony E-mount 18–105 mm f/4 G OSS zoom lens.

Video Recording + Slow Motion: Records UHD 4K at up to 30 fps internally, and 4K 60/120 fps externally. Captures Full HD slow motion up to 240 fps in 8-second bursts, and up to 960 fps at reduced quality.

Base ISO: Base ISO is 800 in standard mode and 3200 in S-Log.

ISO Range: ISO can be adjusted from 100 to 102,400 using gain settings.

Stabilization: No in-body stabilization. Lens stabilization available if using OSS lenses. Final stabilization depends on lens or post.

Storage: Uses dual SD card slots (SDXC/SDHC) for internal recording. Supports external RAW via SDI or HDMI output.

Audio Capabilities: Includes two XLR inputs with manual control. Built-in stereo mic and headphone output also available.

When checking out equipment make sure for the following:
