Tascam DR‑1

The Tascam DR‑1 is a compact handheld stereo audio recorder designed for musicians, field reporters, and content creators. It features adjustable condenser microphones and intuitive controls in a clean, lightweight format.
Storage: Records to SD/SDHC cards up to 32 GB in WAV or MP3 formats.
Audio Capabilities: Built-in stereo condenser mics, external mic and line inputs, limiter, auto gain, low-cut filter, overdub, tuner, pitch/key playback adjustment.

Tascam DR‑05

Description: The DR‑05 is a pocket-sized audio recorder with built-in omnidirectional stereo microphones. It’s ideal for high-quality field and music recording.
Storage: Supports microSD, microSDHC, and microSDXC cards (up to 128 GB) for WAV (up to 24‑bit/96 kHz) or MP3 recording.
Audio Capabilities: Automatically detects audio input and can pre-record two seconds before activation, includes limiter, auto-level, low‑cut filter (40/80/120 Hz), peak reduction, overdub, playback EQ, chromatic tuner.

Tascam DR‑05X

Description: The DR‑05X builds on the DR‑05 with added USB audio interface functionality and improved usability. It’s well-suited for podcasting, streaming, voiceover, and field recording. 
Storage: Compatible with microSD, microSDHC, and microSDXC cards up to 128 GB. Supports WAV (24‑bit/96 kHz) or MP3 formats. 
Audio Capabilities: Dual omnidirectional condenser microphones (handles up to 125 dB SPL), USB‑audio interface mode (2‑in/2‑out), limiter, auto-level, overdub, low‑cut filter, chromatic tuner, self-timer and talk-back features. Up to 17.5 hours battery life on 2 × AA batteries.

When checking out equipment make sure for the following:

• You have all the equipment listed on the equipment’s kit
• Keep the equipment in the bags when not in use.
• Check if the batteries are charged and cards are empty. You can ask the Studio Assistants for any help you might need.
