Be a ‘UNic Student for a Day’ provides Lyceum students with the opportunity to learn more about UNIC as they begin their university search. Members of the Admission staff, Professors and current students will share valuable information to better prepare juniors for the college interview and application processes.”

Mediazone supports the Admissions Department initiative – “Student for a day”. Mediazone conducted a tour / workshop just before the Christmas break for “Student for a day”. Lyceum students were given basic instruction on the equipment and some information on the roles inside a control room and studio. With the help of Mediazone staff and lab assistants the high school students did their own own green screen weather report show. All positions were filled by them! They did the camera work – changing of the cameras and backgrounds. They got to be camera people, directors and control room personnel.
The bottom line is Lyceum students had a unique and memorable experience, they learned while having fun, and we are positive it was informative and exciting!
Just this semester alone, over 120 Lyceum students have experienced the Mediazone “tour”!
Mediazone & the Communications Department are enthusiastic about continuing this new initiative with the Admissions Department !
