When it seems that the current generation of consoles is slowing down ,and while the same companies seem to be throwing their weight towards the generation that follows, leaving the old consoles on autopilot – everybody is getting excited by PS4, XBOXONE and even STREAMBOX (future 2014 consoles-that will set the direction of the industry in the following 10 years). It’s this console generation’s last hurrah. Rockstar,a multinational video game developer and publisher, made a big surprise, releasing Grand Theft Auto V (5) in this generation.
GTA (Grand Theft Auto V) uses its own custom physics engine -it is a sandbox game played from a third point view.
That means you roam freely through a virtual world, which that means you can go wherever you want to go and do whatever you want. Some examples are
• varieties of vehicles(planes,cars,motorcycles, submarines)
• weapons (pistols ,rgbs , grenades,assault rifles ,snipers etc
• activites and hobbies (play tennis, exercise with yoga , darts ,golf ,street racing scuba diving,parachuting etc.)
• Story missions
• Stoke market that you can spend your fake money and buy in game garages and houses
• It has a phone (d-pad) that you can actually call in game friends and surf the internet
• Radio stations(vehicles have licensed tracks with multiple stations to choose off)
• Online mode(play against or with your friends)
The single player mode is played through three main characters: Michael ,Trevor and Franklin – criminals whose stories are revealed as you complete certain missions. This is actually the 15th title of the GTA franchise.
Plot and main characters short bio
Michael:
is a retired bank robber who is currently in the witness protection program after making a deal with the FIB (a play on words based on the actual FBI – fib is a synonym for lie )
Trevor:
is a former military pilot who did a few bank jobs with Michael back in the day.
Franklin:
is the youngest of the three protagonists. He works at a luxury car dealership.

Each main character has his own personality, motivation and skills.
You definitely have to play the game in order to believe how realistic and awesome video games can be sometimes. No other world in video games even come close to this in size or scope. For me, GTA V is an intelligent satire of present America. Enjoying the thrilling, in every aspect, unpredictable in every possible way.Whether you are on a bank heist, exploring the world or being chased by the police, the script is also funny , the music is superb (both the licensed tracks and the atmospheric original score), and, most of all, it’s really, a masterpiece!
