The University of Nicosia is collaborating once again, and Mediazone is supporting the event in many behind the scenes products.
There are many items Mediazone will be creating this year including the animation of a new logo. This year a new logo was created, and a promo for social media / media was required.
Marios Tziakouris, Mediazone Design and Multimedia staff worked closely with CFD Cyprus to create this terrific animation. Here is how he did it!
This 2D logo was given to me with the instructions to make it look like a film coming alive. Using adobe AE I converted it into a 3D object, inserted lights behind each “film home” and I animated the opening using built in filters in AE. Illustrator was also used to separate the statue and the film holes into two different layers. Finally, I used a camera in after effects to show motion and some more light to enhance the atmosphere. Text was converted into 3d as well and animated.
