Recently, our Mediazone team has been working on a project that will make the lives of all students easier. Our Resource page has launched and you can check it out now here!
The resource page is a collection of student resources with lots of information about a variety of topics, templates, downloads, apps, tutorials, and helpful links. These resources are constantly updated, and if you have any suggestions that might be useful for students, just inform us and we can take a look.
The first time I checked the Resource page, I was surprised at how easy the page was to navigate. Just exploring is a learning process. When you first open up the page, the first thing you see when you look at the resource page are the categories; with the most useful industry documents for you to download, dozens of beneficial industry- related links, and more than 100 downloads for your filmmaking needs.
All you need to do is press on the “Explore” button that will take you to the next part of the page or just simply scroll down. We start with the main resource page and everything is sorted according to different topics: Pre-production, production, useful links, free downloads, release documents and other resources.
The first category is pre-production, and here you can find everything you need for your projects while it’s still at the early stages. For example, you can find a script sample to learn how to write like a real screenwriter, a shot list to make sure you have all the shots and be prepared to shoot, or even a crew contact list for your production. By clicking on any of these links, it will send you to a page with a description of the document you have chosen, that you can then download as different file formats: PDF, word, etc.
In the production category, you will find documents that would be helpful during your shootings like a daily call sheet to organize your crew. As well as a production progress report to schedule your project to be on time with your shoot.
Next you will see other useful documents, such as a set guide or radio/audio studio console guide. The following two categories are helpful links and free downloads, where you can find everything you will need.
There are some topics you can find like photography. When you click on it, you will find sub-topics and choose exactly what you need to learn about and download. You can also find links to tons of copyright-free sources with music, videos, photos, and other resources you will need during the production.
And the last category will present you with a release document, which asks people for their consent to use them for your photos or videos. Moreover, if you do not want to go through all the topics and are looking for something specific, you can always use the search bar placed right above the main block of the page.
To sum up, the resource page will provide you with every piece of information and essential links you need for your projects. It is very easy to navigate through, and something that would take you days to find if you searched everything yourself on Google – you find them all at your fingertips, confirmed sources on the Mediazone resource page.
So just explore, because sometimes you never know if you need something unless you come across it!
I hope it will help you with your studies! Have fun exploring the resource page and improving your projects!
