How easy is it to use your smart phone while you are driving?
Htc series one (one v, one s and one x) have created an application that allows you to use your mobile phone while you are driving.
This car application changes your screen from vertical application view to horizontal view.
This application gives you five screens. In home screen you have your entire car application shortcuts (phone, Google maps, Music and Internet Radio), the clock with the weather, and settings. For each application you have a screen.
You have to have attached your phone to the car stand; while your hands are on the steering wheel. The horizontal screen gives you bigger icons, and it gives you the ability to use your phone with only one finger.
I have been using the car application for more than one month on the HTC one v (1Ghz, 512ram, 3.7″) and it works fine even on the one v. I would recommend the new HTC series One phones – especially for those that need a phone while driving.
The only problem is, in Cyprus they don’t have the accessories for the car stand so you have to open the application manually, (of course there is online shopping.). If you buy the stand from HTC the car application is launched when you attach your phone on the stand automatically.
