Today was Career day at the University of Nicosia. A great opportunity for students to seek out their futures, with Unic right alongside with them.
For some people choosing a career is a laborious task – as they feel like they have to seek it, look hard for it, constantly try all sorts of different roads. For others it finds them, like a lightning strike from above they just know what they want to do for the rest of their lives!
Andreas Christoforou (A Communications Department student) is more the “lightening strike kind of guy”. Andreas is both a Lab Assistant in Mediazone and a member of the Communications Society here at the University. He loves everything media and Dj’s on the side. You can tell he loves it – just watch the end of the video & you will understand…He has known for a long time what he wants to do and is focused & determined to do it.
So when we heard that he was taking the initiative to Dj at the Career Day event we offered our support (all inclusive! both morale support & equipment wise!) We ran outside & documented it! The event would not have been the same without the musical entertainment.
We thank Andreas & look forward to supporting him and all of our students, whose future careers are around the corner, and whether it finds them or they find it!!
