That could very well have been the headline and the news story, as this year’s Cooking Contest gave once again a chance to young people to cook Cypriot cuisine! More than that it gave everyone a chance to enjoy the smells, the tastes, sights and sounds of the Cyprus culture. Maintaining cooking recipes that could soon disappear is not as easy as it looks!
Recipes passed down from generations, from grandparents and great grandparents are revered and valued, with the hope that it is not just one weekend a year. Its up to our generation and the next to ensure that food recipes like:
