On Friday March the 16th the University Of Nicosia hosted Famelab Cyprus in Cinestudio. Coordinating were Nadia Karayianni from the University Of Cyprus and Elisa Bosio from the Reasearch & Innovation office UNIC, & Mediazone University of Nicosia. Doxa Komodromou from CYBC was our host & presenter.
Mediazone successfully Produced, Directed & Shot live to tape the entire event, using our very own Lab Assistants as well as freelancers. Four cameras were connected to a portable SD switcher and all camera selection was done live & on the spot! The event will be edited right here in Mediazone, before potentially airing on CYBC.
With only 3 minutes to present their ideas there was definite tension in the air. All of this was wrapped up in nervous energy, excitement and creativity as the event unfolded to produce the finalists. The judges, including our very own University of Nicosia President, Dr. Nicos Peristianis must have had a difficult task choosing from amongst the participants & their presentations.
