Facebook – staying social, I like it…….

Posted On November 18, 2013 By admin In Studio Assistants Blog /

Facebook nowadays has invaded our daily activities and generally our lives.  For more information about it’s creation click on:  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Facebook.

It’s no coincidence that millions of people spend so much time on Facebook.  Personally, I spend more than the half of my free time on it.   It can provide several things, such as free communication with people around the world, especially for people who have relatives in other countries like me.  Another thing that Facebook provides is, that you can add all of your friends and also learn new things through the posts of articles or pictures that you can share with them.  Moving on, another function of Facebook is the games that it includes, my favourite one lately is Candy Crash, which also attracts many people. You can also, spend your free time chatting with friends, uploading pictures of yourself and your friends.

A remarkable function that has been added lately included on Facebook is that you can also make video calls and not only chat, for example with my aunt who has a Facebook account, she cannot type a message on the keyboard, so it’s very helpful and easy, the fact that she can communicate with her friends with only one click on the computer.  To conclude, I would like to highlight the importance of Facebook to me.  The most remarkable feature of Facebook, is that Ι have the ability to communicate with my friends in my free time since most of  them study abroad and it is very difficult and expensive to communicate otherwise. Although there is Skype, Oovoo, Viber and Whats App which in terms may be deemed “healthier” – because on Facebook you get involved with many other things like gaming. I personally enjoy playing those games.  Furthermore, most of my friends prefer Facebook as a communication tool rather than Skype and all those other ways that I referred to.  I like Facebook and I will continue using it.. but always in moderation.
