Sometimes I feel that wherever I go or whatever I do, life purposely brings obstacles in my way. But there are some other times that I feel very lucky in my life. Mediazone is one of these cases, that makes me feel very lucky. Mediazone has been a great school for me. By thinking of myself, a year and a half ago, I could say that I am a different person now; the only things that are the same, in comparison to the past, are my memories and my ethics. My mentality has changed in a way that I couldn’t have even imagined. Now, I have a purpose in my life and many goals. This is very important for me, because I have dreams; In fact, “Think Big” is the moto of our university and it has been memorable to be. Even when I am sleeping, I see a big label having the Unic motto; and when I wake up I am not sure if I am dreaming or not. I can talk more about this dream of mine about that motto, a different time. I prefer now to talk about one Mediazone story that it is memorable. It was raining outside and the wind was blowing hard like someone was trying to tell me something. Generally, I like these kind of poetic moments, when the weather gets wild and my senses are alert. At that point, I was in the digital lab, in Mediazone and I was editing. While I was editing and listening to music, suddenly I heard a thunder that broke the silence. I didn’t panic but I realized that there was becoming «the Deluge of Deucalion» outside. Despite that fact, I continued editing.
At seven o’clock, I heard the clock alarm ringing. I immediately thought “I have two more hours until Mediazone is closed and the custodian, will lock the door. Since I was tired, I thought “Alright then, it’s time to leave, I’ll continue my work tomorrow». Then, I passed by the Mediazone Production floor to say goodbye and goodnight to my team-mates, as I always do. When I arrived there, my team-mate kindly told me: “You have eventually arrived for your reservation! I was going to charge you with a penalty but fortunately, you are here on time.” I felt so lucky at that point that a tear of joy fell over my eyes and fell to the ground. Regardless of who you are, in all fairness, procedures and rules apply to everyone! No really this happened!
As you all understand, strong moments, like this one, makes me believe in miracles. All kidding aside I feel blessed because I am a part of the Mediazone team and I wish the future will be even better and that I will keep learning new things every day. I am sure that, when the time comes when I will no longer be a part of Mediazone, I will remember the great moments which I have as a member of this team. Furthermore, I know that whenever I need help, Mediazone will be there to support me as it always does. Once Mediazone, always Mediazone!
