The symposium “Participation, Media Representation and the Financial and Political Crises in Cyprus”, which will take place at the University of Nicosia on the 4th of December, 2014, 09:00-18:00, is organized by the Department of Communications of the University of Nicosia and the Friedrich Ebert Foundation of Cyprus.
Two international key note speakers, Professors Suman Gupta and Nico Carpentier, will be featured in the symposium, as well as academics and media and law practitioners. Students of the MA Program in Digital Media and Communications will also present and share their critical reflections of their own projects which were conducted within organizations such as CYTA, like.com.cy, TEDx, and the University of Nicosia.
