Robots in our lives

Posted On January 2, 2013 By admin In Studio Assistants Blog /

robotsI remember when I was a kid, we used to play with robots; a toy that had a light and some nice motions to it. At the time I never thought that one day robots could be used in big and very sensitive operations. I always asked myself the question of how much can robots be useful for humans.

Doing a little research we can find out that robots are very useful and have made our life easier. In laboratories we have different kinds of robots, each with different shapes that do  entire jobs, as an example we have robotic arms that  that can withstand high temperatures and move heavy tubes which a human hand cannot do; military robots nowadays are like soldiers, they help in reconnaissance, or we have robots which  help us identify dangerous locations. Also they are used in  factories, and they do very sensitive and important jobs. Just imagine the computer circuit board, and all of the small pieces assembled by the robots that by giving them a simple program they give you the same result over and over again – endlessly.

In my opinion to have  robots in our life is not a bad idea, but if it will lead to us being lazy or it will endanger the replacement of humans, which will potentially cause mass unemployment; then it is not such a good idea to use them. Although everyone in different business and different fields are looking to find a way to bring down their expenses and  people will want to pay the lower price, the price they may pay could be something they were not expecting.

I believe we have to find a way that robots will not  have a bad effect in our basic life, and our jobs. We like the technology but we don’t like to jeopardize our employment viability.

I hope as the technology is moving forward, we as users of that technology, know how and where to use it.

I really like robots and I hope one day to have one of them in my house to help me with all my troubles in life.
