The winner of FameLab® Cyprus will then represent Cyprus in the FameLab® International competition held in Cheltenham, UK in 2014. Originally created by the UK’s Cheltenham Science Festival, the idea of the competition is to encourage young people with a passion for science and technology to share their enthusiasm and knowledge with the general public. FameLab Cyprus is organized by the British Council in partnership with the European Office of Cyprus.

WHAT IS THE AIM OF FAMELAB?

The aim of is to encourage scientists, engineers, technologists and mathematicians to inspire and excite public imagination with a vision of science in the 21st century. We are searching for the new faces of science in Cyprus, who will be able to develop their ideas and presentation skills for a TV and non-specialist audience.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN?
