Control everything in a Hotel by a smart mobile phone

Posted On January 8, 2013 By admin In Studio Assistants Blog /

hotelThis is where new-tech is going. It is amazing, because we might have never imagined 5 or 10 years ago that when we go to a hotel, instead of receiving a key card, we will receive a smart phone.

Now this is possible with new technology. The so called high-tech hotels are using this system to provide an advanced and perhaps more  secured services to their customers. I wondered how it worked, so I searched little about it.

When you enter into “High tech” hotels you will get a smart phone instead of a card. The services that these phones give you are not comparable with “older version”. For instance, in order to activate the elevator to reach your room, even to enter your room, the smart phone will do all the unlocking . It sounds extraordinary that you can have full control of almost everything in your hotel room. Choose mood music, films, switch on lights, dim lights, order your food or drink via the smart phone.

In my opinion, the future of our daily life will be something similar; as I guess some of you already are highly involved with high-technology. Applications on smart phones will allow us to order our shopping and get it only to our house, control TV, lights, open and close the doors, control the security of our  home and car, control blood pressure, and many advanced interactive activities. However I’m afraid we will be too dependent on our smart phones and applications and I am concerned; What would happen if we  lose our mobile phone?
